Corona Virus – COVID-19 – Update

The UK government has announced the removal of all restrictions in relation to COVID-19.

However, given the nature of treatment carried out in a dental practice and in order to protect the many vulnerable members of society that we see in our surgeries the wearing of a mask/face covering (unless exempt) has and will continue to be a requirement on entering the building.

PLEASE CONTINUE TO BRING A FACE COVERING WITH YOU FOR YOUR DENTAL APPOINTMENT.

The signs and symptoms COVID-19 have changed and general testing for the disease is likely to reduce. Our aim is to continue to stop persons infected with the coronavirus from entering our practice. We will therefore continue to screen patients for symptoms on entering the building.

IF PATIENTS HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS OF CORONAVIRUS INCLUDING THOSE OF A SIMPLE EVERYDAY COLD WE WILL ASK YOU TO RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT UNLESS YOU CAN OTHERWISE SHOW YOU ARE NOT INFECTED WITH COVID-19.

We will continue to carry out all procedures and protocols to allow for social distancing and safe passage through the practice. We will also continue to maintain the high level of PPE worn dependent on the dental procedure to be carried out. This is all to ensure that patients and staff can attend our practice in the safe knowledge that everything possible has been done to protect them against the corona virus which continues to circulate in the population at large and a disease we must learn to live with.

If you do have a dental concern please call the practice Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm, so that we can help you in any way that we can.
