The health, wellbeing and safety of our patients, their families and our staff is our priority at Bower Dental Practice
We fully understand that our patients will be concerned about coronavirus, and we want to assure you that we’re closely monitoring the evolving situation and following the guidelines issued by the UK Government and Public Health England and taking into account advice from our governing bodies.
Our practice currently remains open for all telephone and e-mail enquiries. To reduce risks to yourself and practice staff please do not visit the practice without an appointment until further notice.
We will always do our utmost to ensure that emergency appointments are available. At present we are carefully considering which cases require immediate treatment in line with government guidance. If you have any concerns please speak to us and one of our dentists will be available to discuss your options.
Important guidance if you’re planning on visiting our dental practice
It is important when visiting our practice that you take the following steps, in line with the latest government advice:
- Keep your hands clean, washing regularly and thoroughly, for at least 20 seconds with soap and water
- Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch all coughs and sneezes and then bin the tissue – then wash your hands with soap and water; or use a sanitiser
- Try to avoid direct or close contact (closer than 2 metres for over 15 minutes) with any people who may be unwell
Notice regarding Denplan cover
Please be reassured that your accident, emergency and out of hours cover remains in place. We aim to extend our working hours once restrictions are lifted in order to catch up on any delayed appointments. Please ring the practice if you have any further questions.
